OK, despite the fact that at 40 years old, he isn't quite the player he was back in the days that this picture was taken, Kenny Lofton is still a decent player. He is batting .303 this year with 96 hits, 23 RBI, 21 stolen bases and 7 homers. Tonight he made his first start as an Indian since 2001, and he went 3-5 with 3 singles, an RBI and a very crucial bunt single in the 3rd that loaded the bases and opened the door to a big inning. Lofton also brought a great atmosphere to the Jake, and received a 30 second ovation when he came to the plate. Jhonny Peralta had a great night as well, hitting 2 homers.....a 3 run bomb and a 2 run bomb to give him 5 RBI on the night. The Indians had 16 hits and beat the Twins 10-4, and are now 60-43 on the year, 1 game behind Detroit in the division.
